Song Cycle: vive la vélorution! by Alexander L'Estrange was commissioned to mark the Grand Départ of the Tour de France 2014. Composed for massed SATB choirs and jazz quintet, the work comprises ten entertaining songs telling the story of the bicycle from its inauspicious beginnings to the glorious Tour de France.
